Physical Audio's Preparation 2 synth has a different philosophy to most synthesizer plugins available today. As part of our launch campaign, we knew we needed to demonstrate the variety of sounds available from this 'hyper-real' physical modelling instrument, and we did that with this video playthrough of its 160+ presets. We delivered multiple versions: Full, Highlights, and Shorts.

What good is an AI-powered de-eser? How has loudness changed through the decades? And how can you take your first steps into mastering? These are some of the questions we've answered while writing for the blog of the Austrian AI-powered plugin developer. One of the goals of the blog is to demonstrate the use cases of Sonible's forward-thinking technology, and to put them in context. It's not obvious to everybody how an AI-assisted limiter can help people to improve the quality of their music production, and it's one job of the blog to make that clear. This is very much an advanced production blog, answering questions that are beyond the basics.

Physical modelling synths are always unique and uniquely challenging. Modus, with its combination of strings, springs, rattles and plates, needs a lot of explaining to truly understand, which made it a perfect project for us. Devising the entire launch strategy, and providing manual, press release, videos, influencer relations, email and social strategy and more, we were able to tell the story of this synth and get more curious eyes and ears to discover it.

How would you explain this to viewers as quickly as possible? Rando is a sampler plugin that loads random samples across your MIDI keyboard and lets you trigger, layer, modify and replace them, giving you an inspiring new angle on your tired old sample collection. Your video should last about a minute and the first five seconds should be suitable for it to be used as an ad. Want to see what we did?

Egg Audio has provided almost all the content for the Loopcloud Blog sice it was first established in 2019. The website focuses on great artist interviews, tutorial how-to content, and lifestyle-focused pieces about being a music producer. With types of content from releasing tracks and getting your music heard, to mixing and mastering tips, the Loopcloud Blog is a great resource for the in-house newsletter and an entry-point for potential subscribers. One key point of our work is to raise awareness of Loopcloud's capabilities, as well as its wider ecosystem like the Loopcloud Sounds plugin and the online browser. The blog is distributed via the Loopcloud and Loopmasters newsletters, and another entry point is through search.

For the first official virtual version of a Rhodes piano, you have to go above and beyond. Rhodes delivered in terms of sound and functionality, and for the V8 and V8 Pro plugins, we delivered with tutorial videos, a press release and influencer campaign, and even the product's manual. The V8's launch was a big success, with Rhodes' download goals far exceeded during the initial competition phase of the plugin's release.

Check out this folder of short videos we've created for various plugin developers to provide meaningful content on social media. These short videos are designed for to be under one or under three minutes in length, and can be delivered in both Landscape and Portrait formats. Tutorial content gives people a reason to stop scrolling and gain a valuable insight from the brand.

Everyone knows Waves, but not everyone can keep perfect track of every Waves plugin in the catalogue – or even every Waves plugin they own! This blog exists for a number of reasons: it provides educational resources communicated using Waves plugins, it showcases new plugins when they are recently released, and it provides valuable newsletter content for Waves. One thing that's unique about Waves as a client is their potential for writing multiple lists about their own plugins. Best Waves Reverbs is a search query with genuine traffic, and Waves themselves should be getting it for this and similar searches – with our articles, they're doing so.

smart:gate is a very new concept but not a simple one to understand. Being 'content-aware' means this gate can react even if the target detected source is drowned out by another sound. We got involved to work on the press release and communications for smart:gate, helping to define the key messaging behind the plugin's release.

When you get the opportunity to speak for a brand as beloved as Rhodes, you'd better do a good job. We already worked on the launch of the Rhodes V8 plugin, contributing a press release, influencer arrangements and even the manual, so we were ready to script and perform two tutorial videos for the software, covering A Deep Overview and Advanced Features. With MIDI performances supplied by Rhodes' product demonstrators, we can say we were completely authentic.

The microtonal 'translator' plugin that converts traditional MIDI or MPE input into alternative tunings, and can even host your favourite synths to turn them microtonal. We drew up a comprehensive launch plan and marketing strategy and were there to carry out video, press and web elements, as well as producing the manual. We love manuals.

You could call Entonal Studio a microtonal 'translator' plugin for use with MIDI and MPE inputs. For its trailer video, we worked with music from microtonal artist Sevish, shot original footage of the plugin in use, and met our strategy of providing a trailer video that sounds great, explains the plugin's features, and can also function as a compelling advert. A project with very direct consequences to eCommerce, Plugin Boutique's blog is still in its infancy, and we're delivering articles to build domain authority before scaling up our output. The first months and years have seen an increase in traffic, and very good revenue generation. We provide articles intended for promotion to people via the company's newsletter and social media platforms, and sometimes targetted towards search engine results. Currently, there's no one central 'Blog Index' page to direct you to, but here's one they've constructed for use until a proper redesign happens.

As press agents for the recent launch of the MK8 electric piano, we got involved at an early stage to identify key channels and help craft the message. By working with particular websites and helping place exclusive content, the MK8 gained more coverage in the run-up to its launch than most instruments get when they enter the market. And with the collection of top-drawer YouTubers we've lined up to help promote the instrument, we're striking a lasting chord.

Pulsar Audio's take on the Urei 1178 compressor stays true to the original unit but adds extra features. We explained them all in this video tutorial for the plugin, which has racked up over 20,000 views. In Pulsar 1178, you get two channels of FET-style compression, but these can be run in left/right or mid/side pairs; a saturation stage allows extra grit; there's comprehensive metering, and advanced sidechain options including EQ, lookahead and lookbehind.

What better for the reputation of an online education platform than to answer queries on search engines for those starting out in music production? With an objective of generating traffic through search, FaderPros's blog aims to help people discover FaderPro's music production video courses – and their Producer's Club subscription – through useful blog articles. We aren't the only ones writing blog articles for FaderPro, but we also write the company's course descriptions and course launch email copy, too.

Five modules of reverb and delay, with chorus and spatial processing built in for good measure, Spacer is a true reverb and delay playground. We were involved from an early stage, writing website product copy, creating trailer and tutorial videos, orchestrating email campaigns and much more. In fact, when we decided the number of presets wasn't enough to impress, we made over two hundred more ourselves to fix it.

Modus is a conceptual instrument – or rather three of them – involving combinations of strings, plates, springs and rattles. There's a lot to learn, as seen in our Modus Tutorial Video, but people's first introduction to this complex and unique instrument will be in its trailer. This video needed to describe the synth as a concept, showcase its sounds, and convey the depth and breadth of its features. We're particularly proud of the music in this one, but the visuals are pretty great, too.

We've worked with Orchestral Tools on some research and strategy projects in the past, and we also spent a stint managing their online blog. With the aims of giving backstories to the company's product range and providing educational content, we helped to give another voice to this innovative brand between 2021 and 2022.

Iconic Instruments have a mission to preserve the 20th century’s most significant musical instruments, and the Iconic V drum synth keeps the classic ‘hexagonal’ sounds alive for Kontakt and Kontakt Player. We came on board as an all-round partner to provide press relations, email marketing, social media, advertising and advice. This was our first step into the world of Kontakt instruments, as opposed to just VST and Audio Units plugins.

A series of interviews on Beatport's blog, Beatportal, is one of our latest contributions. We love creating unique and impactful interview pieces, with our creative attitude to making a conversation jumps off the virtual page. Recent Beatportal interviews include Carl Craig, Joris Biesmans, Roni Size and others.

We created the launch strategy for this emulation of a semi-forgotton analogue Akai synth, and then followed it through by producing a collection of videos, a press release that spurred coverage, and launch materials including the website text. We also wrote the manual for the synth, which helped us to understand its full power, informing our tutorial videos along the way. The AX73 campaign is still ongoing, as we follow up with YouTube placements, email promotion and more.

We launched this one-of-a-kind multieffects plugin by commissioning videos from influential music production YouTubers, and getting it in the hands of both critically and commercially successful producers and musicians. Alongside our press strategy and a host of videos, Infiltrator is fast becoming one of the most exciting plugin releases this year.

This plugin analyzes your audio and uses AI to determine a choice of sampled loops that would work with your song. Jamahook has to be heard to be believed, so we built a strategy to introduce the plugin through videos in different genres. Alongside these, a series of #quickmatch videos demonstrated how powerful Jamahook could be for producers in under a minute each.

A forward-thinking dynamics plugin that's not ashamed to use lookahead. Boost is hard to describe, but we called it a "Pro maximizer with an upward focus". Boost's Focus control makes the plugin work like an upward compressor, making it a great option for mastering and creative duties. Boost has to be experienced to be understood, so its marketing strategy has focused on YouTube personalities and free demo downloads.

Devious Machines' pitch shifter plugin does things very differently. With up to six octaves of pitch shifting, across three algorithms, and a resolution of 1 cent, there's a lot that Pitch Monster can do that no other plugin can match. Introducing these features to the world involved an advertising strategy, and working alongside connections we'd made on other plugin launches to spread the word.
